
Hurmashice is also one of the comon Bosnian sweets. It's date shaped pastry drenched in a sweet syrup. This sweet is more popular in the Villages then the city
Ingredients |

2 eggs |
2 cups of sugar |
2 cups of oil |
flour as required |
1 tsp of baking powder |
Syrup |

9 cups of sugar |
11 cups of water |
1 lemon |
Method:
- Mix eggs with sugar and oil
- Add flour and baking powder until it firms (shouldn't be sticky)
- Make little balls from the dough (not bigger then 3cm) and press them a bit
- Place them on the trey (do not put the oil on the trey)
- Bake it on 200-220 C until they become a bit brown
- while it cooks make syrup (put oll Ingredients together and mix it)
- When the hurmashice are ready pour the coled syrup on them and cover to infuse the syrup
